Just Because

Hye.

I don't categorize myself as having lots of friends. I am a firm believer of quality instead of quantity (you can shoot me now if you like :p). But really, I am. I could probably count those I considered (real close) friends with one (or probably both) hands. Today, just because it's Friday (haha!), I wanna talk about the people I love so much. People that I don't think I can't live without. People that I truly appreciate. People that I consider family. :)

As you all know, I am stuck here in Bintulu for quite a while now. Since I got back from my maternity leave (about 7 weeks ago), I haven't been back in KL. This is probably the longest I have stayed in and I can't say that it is not affecting me. I have my baby, my mom and my Darling of course, but still, I need Bobbi Brown. :p I think you might notice in my previous entry, I mentioned that I have ran out of some stuffs. It was so hard trying to obtain those thing. To make it worse, they only sell it at certain places. My sisters were both too busy to help. Not to mention the fact that my Darling's going back to KL but will have NO time to do the shopping for me. I was kinda down. Felt a bit helpless until Aritha came along. :D :D :D She, despite having to take care of her baby (who's about the same age as Aryan), offered to lend a helping hand. It might be something small to her, but I really appreciate what she's done for me and I am here to tell her just that. You have no idea how much happier you've made me just by getting me those Bobbi Browns. And this was just one of the littlest things she did for yours truly. Kalau nk tulis suma, mmg panjang la kn. :) Papepun, glad to have you as part of my life.

I came from a small family. My father's an only child and I had (only) 5 cousins on my mother's side. And that's about it. So when I did my wedding at home, I was faced with the greatest challenge, manpower. Thank God for Elmi though. She was there working her ass off. Cleaning, vacuuming and keeping yours truly company of course. :) I couldn't thank her enough for what she did. Even my mom kept on mentioning 'Nak masuk minang pun ada sorang ja anak jantan'. Haha. Boleh? But jokes aside, she really was of the kindest soul I've ever met. I couldn't really imagine what my life would be like without her. I am now waiting for the day to return the favour to her. So Emi, cepat la kahwin! :p

Although I talk about how it kills me not to be able to easily get hold of my Bobbi Brown stuffs, I am not an expert on makeup. I'd love to do more but for now, powder and (some occasional) blush will have to do. But, I do have a person who without fail, will always entertain me when it comes to it. I think Shasha knows that I am more talk than action. Haha. But still, she's over-flowing with tips and what nots. I rant about my makeup concerns all the time with her. Not once has she turned her back on me. In fact, she even got me a gift that would somehow help me pull the look I've been dying to achieve. Shasha, the day I pull off the smokey eye look, I shall channel all my thanks to you! :)

There. The three amazing souls I am very thankful for. Love you girls!

p/s : this post is making me miss them all. :(

Bye.
