When Everything Started

I think we have established that I’ll be getting married this year. InsyaAllah. Well, today marks the day I officially start sharing about the ups and downs of being my own wedding planner. So people, get ready to learn from my mistakes and appreciate my success. InsyaAllah. :)

Not too long after I knew my Darling, he kinda (playfully) proposed to me. We were in the car, on the way back from playing tennis.

Darling : Cayang ku, bila kita nk berkahwin? (giggles)
Me : Tak tahu la cayang ku. Saya tak kisah. I can wait.
Darling : Tapikan cayang ku, saya sudah tidak dapat tunggu la. Saya sudah tidak sabar.
Me : Hahaha.

And that was when everything started to turn on to a more serious note when we talked about marriage. :)

After much discussion, on the 6th of November 2008, the rombongan merisik came over to Penang. We had a simple kenduri just to welcome my Darling and his entourage from Seremban. I was getting ready in Neeta’s room when I saw the merisik party on their way, heading towards my house. Berpeluh pulak ttiba. All of a sudden I felt like there was not enough oxygen in the room. I was excited at first, but when I saw them coming, I became nervous. Mak sgt nervous u ol. Nasib baik la tak mekap. Kalau tak, abis hasil kerja mekap artis ku. Anyway, after the brief discussion, everything was settled and agreed upon. Alhamdulillah. Baru la yours truly can actually breathe normally. Mind you, during the whole process, I was forbidden to go downstairs and show my face. Aku adalah ditinggalkn di atas seorg diri wondering bkn2. :p Until after everything was settled, my Darling’s grandfather requested to see me. That was the first time I saw him. Hehe. Ketakutan jugak actually. Tp pastu mcm lega sbb dh selesai satu perkara. And it went really well.

But, little did I know what’s in store for me after the ending of that little episode. Don’t worry, it’s nothing bad, just the challenges of working in good old Bintulu and planning a wedding in Penang and KL. Memenatkan ok. But nevermind, will blab about that later. Meanwhile, these are the only pics I have to remind me of the day when it all really started. Enjoy peeps.

Happy Thoughts

Hye. Arini ari sabtu. Ape yg org slalu wat ari sabtu? Lepak2? Bersuka-ria? Duduk rumah guling2 atas katil sampe pukul 4 ptg br mandi? Agaknye la kan. Tp aku x dpt wat pun sume tu. Aku kt opis. Kalau ade katil, leh jgk aku attempt nk guling2 sampe kol 4ptg kn? Haih. Aku sdg cuba berfikiran positif. Xmau moody la (walaupun dh sbnrnye). Happy thoughts~ Happy thoughts~ Tp nk take a break from fikiran positif yg dipaksa2.

Ohh, I will be traveling back to KL next week. Actually to Melaka for some forum and then I’ll be in KL for a 2-day meeting. Pastu aku stay on sampe pas raya cina. Motif nk blk Bintulu ari Sabtu? Xde makne. Lgpun bkn aku yg set meeting supaya aku leh blk Chinese New Year for free. Org2 itu yg panggey aku bermeeting dgn mereka. But I am not complaining. Hehe. Sape xmau blk free kn? Aku on ja~ :D

Aku tau entry kali ni x masuk akal. Tp aku x peduli. I just need to write something. Aku ada sedikit rasa x tenteram. PMS awal pulak bulan ni. Hmm. Oklah, bye.

On Being Irresponsible

Hye. I have been very busy with work and also the wedding preparation. I just thought since I had some 15 minutes to spare, I might as well just scribble something here. First, I’d like to clear something with someone who’s so concern about this particular entry on being irresponsible. This person actually thought I was gonna cheat on my Darling or something. Haha. Even though she is lagging (the entry was posted so long ago), but I appreciate her pure concern. Pagi2 lagi dh dtg tpt aku tanye,”Weh, kau ape hal? Kau ngan Hadi ok ke?” “OK je. Apsal?” I asked with the weirdest expression on my face. She pulled me aside and whispered, “Aku baca blog kau yg kau ckp rasa mcm nk tipu Hadi ke nk tinggal Hadi ke ape tu.” “ Hah? Yg mane? Haha. Ape la. Kalau aku nk tipu or tinggal Hadi, perlu ke tulis dlm blog?” By this time, I was more confused and lost, until we sat and read my blog together. “Ooohhhh. Hahaha. Keji la. Xde kene mengene dgn Hadi pun entry tu. Tayah risau.”

Those who knows me well enough, knows that I don’t cheat. I don't just simply breakup a relationship just because. What I meant by being irresponsible ialah I was contemplating whether I should get an LV handbag or not. The responsible thing to do back then (and of course until I get married) was to not even think about it in the first place. I mean given the fact that I’m getting married (with no financial help from anyone at all) soon. Prioritize girl! Tp ya ampun masa tgk gamba2 beg LV tu, mmg tgn sgt la gatal nk menggunakn wang simpanan ku. Plus, it was much cheaper than if I were to get it here in Malaysia. Timing sucks, right? But in the end, I’m glad I didn’t succumb to my desire of being irresponsible. Alhamdulillah. As it is now, without buying the LV handbag pun aku dh terketar ketar wat kira2 for my wedding. Sigh. But it’s ok. It’s a once in a lifetime thingy right? Why not indulge while I can still afford to? :)

Happy New Year

Greetings lovely people. It’s 2009 and I am getting married this year. InsyaAllah. :D Actually, I had this dream of creating a wedding blog just to share with you people about my journey to the big day. Then I realized that I can’t afford to update two blogs. I mean, with the one I have right now pun mcm x terupdate kn. So I decided to just occasionally update you lovely people about my wedding preparation right here. :) I have done quite a lot of things actually. Nnt2 lah aku update ye. I’m a bit busy right now. Just dropped by to wish you all a Happy New Year. Pray for me peeps. Hopefully this time, all goes well. :)
