Hye.

I know this entry is late but nonetheless, I still wanna thank these people for actually making me happy. :) I turned 28 years old (Alhamdulillah) not too long ago. No celebration took place as I had my hands full with my baby. Plus My Darling wasn't around. So kau nak aku celebrate sorang2, memang tak la kan? Hmm. That reminds me, my Darling still owes me a birthday dinner!

OK. I usually don't get a lot of birthday gifts. Those who usually make an effort to get me a present are usually the same set of people. Special individuals that matter, btw. :) So, this year is pretty much the same. Here's a list of birthday gift I got from my lovelies. Thanks a lot! Love you.

The iPod is from my Darling. You know how I go on and on about my weight problem? I have been putting off jogging as I couldn't find my iPod anywhere (yes, I need my iPod when I jog). Hence, the new shuffle is presented. Hehe. Tapi skang puasa la pulak kn. So, tak jog jugak. Hahaha.

The bag is supposed to be a birthday gift from yours truly but it was stolen by my Darling jugak. So aku ok je la kan. :D Oh, Sasa and Aritha bought the same bag too. Boleh jadi Le Pliage angels pulak lepas ni. Hehe.

The last one is from Aritha and Sasa. This gift is truly a life-saver. With my current skin condition, I really need this. Unless if I plan to scare the whole office off lah! Thanks babes. :)

Tu je la hadiah birthday aku tahun ni. Not much but then again, like I said earlier, they are all gifts that I love, from the people that I love, too.

Close To Home

Hye.

It's my birthday today. :) I am officially 27 years old. Alhamdulillah. I could really hope for a better birthday, but I am just really grateful I have been living a good life all these years. Besides, it's not really a good time for me to want a big celebration or anything. Sigh.

I am in no mood to feel all 'birthday girl-y' (ade ke perkataan ni?) simply because I'm worried sick about my Darling. He has been down with high fever for almost 2 full days now. The doc is not ruling out that it could be H1N1. Yes. You read right. My Darling could be down with H1N1. :(

The truth is, I have not been paying much attention to the fast spreading H1N1 virus. I do my part by washing my hands as frequent as I need to and what not. I follow its deadly development on the news and all that, too. But again, never did I take it seriously. But now when it hits close to home, I couldn't help feeling terrified of it. I do.

It really kills me to see my Darling so weak and sick. Dgn mask nyer la, dgn batuk nyer la, dgn occassional moan and groan nyer. Sigh. Sometimes when he's not watching, I cry. I just couldn't help it. I know, some of you might think that I cry to everything. I admit, I do. But this is different. It's just is. You'd know if you were in my place.

So just please pray for our well-being people. I am praying my hardest this time around. Hopefully, Allah will hear me (like always) and help alleviate my Darling's pain a little. InsyaAllah. I just can't bear having to look at him bear all the pain alone, feeling helpless. Please. And I really can't afford to grow anymore pimples due to the stress and sleep depriving effect of this whole situation. Please be kind. :)

Before I go, I'd like to wish myself a happy birthday and thank those who took the trouble to wish me. :)

Far From Being Easy

Hye everyone! I had the greatest weekend ever in Bintulu. Macam tak percaya kn? But I did. :D I played paintball 2 days in a row. I got shot 4 times, one on the back, one on the side of my body and two on my legs. Some might think that I have absolutely gone crazy to like being shot at. The fact is, I do enjoy being shot at, but not as much as I enjoy shooting at others (sampe my Darling yg satu team dgn aku pun aku tembak. Haha). Best tau tembak orang. Provided you hit who you want to la kn. :D I have the pictures of the wounds I obtained but malas nk upload. As usual. Hehe. Later2 la ye.

Ok. Enough about paintball, last week was my Darling’s birthday. He turned 26 on Friday. I didn’t do much this time except bought him a (really) small chocolate sponge cake and something from Body Shop. That was all I could do given the state I am in right now. I just hope he knows I’ve tried my best to utilize whatever resources I can find in Bintulu. To my Darling, Happy Birthday. Here’s to more great years to come. InsyaAllah. I love you!

I’ll be heading back to KL this Friday for my assessment next week. Wish me luck peeps! I really need to do well. (Matila berharap tp x jgk study.) This trip is gonna be a tiring one. Just like the one I had in December. I’m finishing up some unfinished businesses with regards to my wedding. Here’s a quick list of things I need to do :

1. See Aunty Talha, the tailor in PJ : She’s the one responsible for my outfits for engagement and solemnization. Nak pg fitting la ni.
2. See Abg Man, the tailor in Kajang : He’s the one responsible for our outfits for reception in KL. Ni br nk pg measure.
3. Collect invitation cards from Cahaya Idaman
4. To Jalan TAR : Buy sampin for my Darling (hantaran for tunang), materials for family and bridesmaid *hi sasa*/bestman for reception in KL.
5. To SSF : Buy stuffs for deco hantaran tunang.
6. Stay positive all the time! :D

The reason it’s gonna be a bit crazy is because my Mom and my Darling will only be around until the 9th. So we have two full days (7th and 8th) to do everything. It might seem like an easy target to achieve, but believe me it’s far from being easy. Anyway, wish me luck ya.

My father turns 64 today. Alhamdulillah. I ordered cupcakes for him. Since I am in Bintulu, my sis, Neeta will be picking them up later today. I hope she won't forget to snap a pic of the cuppies before they start eating. Hehe. I'll upload the picture of my father's birthday cupcakes later. I really hope they are gonna be lovely (and tasty) and that he's gonna like them. Anyway, Happy Birthday Pa. May you be showered with good health, great fortune and lots of love always. :)

Weird Stranger

It’s really quiet at the office today. Most of my colleagues have left to start their Raya holidays. I’ll be off on Monday night and will only be back 2 weeks after. No, I’m not getting engaged or married or any of that sort. But something sure is happening during the 2 weeks I’m home. InsyaAllah. :) I’m so excited! And also a little bit nervous.

The reason I’m actually here today is because I’m just too lazy to work. Who works on Fridays anyway? Hehe. So, I wanna share a little story with you people. A telephone conversation between me and a weird stranger.

There I was watching According to Jim on the telly when my handphone rang. I looked at it and it wasn’t a familiar number. I don’t usually pick up if I don’t recognize the caller, but on that day, I did. Here goes the conversation…

Me : Hello
She : Hello. Ni sape?
Me : (menyirap darah aku kalau org tepon pastu tanye soklan camni) Nk ckp dgn sape?
She : Ade x call number 012 – xxxxxx td?
Me : Xde pun. (dgn confident nyer)
She : Xde. Number ni ade miss call number 012 – xxx xxxx td. Tu psl sy call nk tanye ni.
Me : Ni sape? I x pnah call number ni pun.
She : Ohh x. Mmg la bkn number ni. Number ni 012 –yyy yyyy. Sy tanye number td tu.
Me : Tu number sape?
She : Tu number tunang sy. Dier ckp ni number laki. Maybe kwn adik dier.
Me : Sape nama tunang awak?
She : Nafi.
Me : Hah? X kenal. Nama adik dier?
She : Kepen.
Me : X kenal jgk. Sy x kenal tunang awak and adik dier. Rs nya sy x pnah pun terdail number tunang awk tu. Cube cek betul2.
She : Sy dh cek la td tu. Ni yg sy call number ni. Dier suruh sy call.
Me : (wth? apsal tunang kau suh call?) Sori. X kenal sesape pun.
She : Ok lah. Tp ni number laki ke pompuan?
Me : (ayo pompuan ni. ttp kn??) Ni number sy.
She : Ohh. Number pompuan la ek. So mmg x pnah call number td tu ek?
Me : (nk je aku jwb, x lah, bkn pompuan, ni number pondan) X pnah.
She : Ok lah.

And then I hung up. My goodness. Wth? I really do not understand why she did what she did and why he asked her to call whichever number that miscalled him on his handphone! I told my Darling about the whole weird episode and he laughed and said, ‘Keji la pompuan gile jealous nak mampus.’ Something that never crossed my mind. Haha. She was probably checking her fiance’s handphone or something. But the truth is I never did dial his number. I actually checked my dialed numbers just to be sure. No such number. Weird kn? Hmm.



On a completely different note, tomorrow, this lovely space will turn 1. :D Yes people, I have been pouring my hearts out here for a year. :) Good thing this space tidak boleh berkata-kata. Kalau x, mesti aku kene maki kn. Hehe. Thanks bloggy. Just for being there everytime I need you to. Happy Birthday! XOXO~

Hola! I’m back, by popular demand of course (matila baru 3 org tanye nape x updet blog trus declare popular katanya). Anyway, I’m back and all is well. :D

I know it’s probably a little late for me to do this, but my big brother turned 31 last Wednesday and here’s wishing him a happy belated birthday. God bless. :)
